Create Your Own Peace of Mind With These 10 Productivity Tips!

If your anything like me, you need to remind yourself to be productive. Sometimes it's difficult with all the distractions in the world. But with tips and tricks to help you along the way, it'll hopefully make it easier for you!

Here's some tips I like to follow when I find myself getting distracted!

1. Write. It. Down!

This is one of my biggest ones. Not only because I have a terrible memory, but because it really does help. There's nothing more satisfying then having a checklist of things to do.. and checking them off! It makes me feel so accomplished.. like I'm actually doing something once a list is completed.

2. Don't Underestimate Yourself!

Don't underestimate the things you can get done with the amount of time that you have. It's all about your mindset. Be positive that you can get it done, and you will!

3. Deal With Distractions!

This is a common issue when it comes to being productive. If you're doing something super important such as school, work, etc - you want to be sure to minimize the distractions around you. Turn the TV off, put your phone on silent for half an hour and FOCUS! And you'll get done what you need too!

4. Build You A Schedule!

This is super helpful! If you plan to do certain things on days you have more time handy, it' ll most certainly help! Say clean on your off days, or run errands. You'll be able to get a lot more done if you plan it out.

5. Get A Head Start!

This goes along with building your schedule. If you're already aware of some of the things you need to do, why not get a head start? Get it done!

6. Take A Break When You Need It!

If your task list plans to take you all day, take a break and get some air every 30-45 minutes! This will help you breathe and regain your focus. Especially if your doing computer work -- your eyes can get weary after staring at a computer for so long.

7. If You're Having A Bad Day, Restart:

This is common.. for me at least. When I'm like this I'm not very productive, because I'm too busy focusing on what's wrong. So I have to take a minute and reset myself. Forget about the bad, and focus on the good to get done what I need too. This could be anything from taking a walk, listening to music, etc.

8. E-Mails And How To Handle Them:

For me, E-mails aren't that pressing except for at work. My main one is checking them for the latest product launches for Instagram. I normally check mine once I first wake up (to see what happened overnight & what I need to post), and Mid-Day to see what's happening that day! Sorting and deleting will also be your best friends if you have a full inbox! Stay organized with your life and mail! And it will be easier!

9. Exercise!

I know you’re probably thinking what does this have to do with being productive? Well I'll tell you. Now most of us don't like to do this, including me at times, but it's helpful. If you start your day early, and exercise - it gives you more energy. Your more awake. And will have a great start to your day, with a positive attitude to tackle it. Along with your long to do list!

10. Do Your Most Dreaded Task First!

This one is simple. Do the things you hate doing the most first, that way it's out of the way. And you can focus on the things that aren't as bad. This is me putting away laundry. I'm all for washing it, it's putting it away that I can't stand!
