July 2019 BoxyCharm Review!

Today’s Makeup Mania is going to be my July BoxyCharm Review! Why do I do these at the end of the month?! Because I use and test out the products for the whole month, to gather my thoughts on them, that way you know what you’re getting, if you’re not subscribed to BoxyCharm and want to purchase these products! This month has tons of goodies, like very month. This subscription is the absolute best! If you don’t know what BoxyCharm is, it’s a monthly subscription for only $21! The first thing I was super excited about was #1. (I’ve never tried Butter London before, so it’s always nice to try a well heard brand that you’ve never experienced)

1. Butter London Natural Goddess Eyeshadow Palette! $32, but out of stock on their website. It's available online Kohl's and on sale for $25.60!

This palette has a ton of shimmers (4/6 shades) with 2 mattes! The olive shimmer (Star) and the blue matte (Femme Fatale) really called my name on this one! I will say I wish it had a more light colored transition shade, but you can still work with what you got. The packaging is so unique and cute, also small and compact, making it perfect for travel.

2. Appeal Cosmetics Gel Liner in Desert Taupe! $21 on their site!

This eyeliner shade is a gorgeous taupe brown! The packaging is super sleek, and I love the font of the text on it! Also, that it has the color on the outside (as some eyeliners don't), that way you know what you’re grabbing! Swatching this, the eyeliner was incredibly creamy and easy to use. However, when applying it to the waterline, it became a little tricky. I had to go back multiple times, but once it’s applied, it’s stunning!

3. Alamar Cosmetics Mother of Pearl Lip Gloss in Sirenita! $10!

I’ve tried the Reina de Caribe Volume 1 Palette and the Blush Light Trio, but this was the first time ever trying their glosses! And I have to say.. WOW! This gloss is so pretty! It goes on smooth, it’s not sticky or tacky, and has the most gorgeous shine. Sirenita is a pink, with looks like a pearl-like iridescent to it! Unfortunately all the Mother of Pearl glosses are all sold out, as they’ve recently launched their nudes... but I’m sure are just as great!

4. Elemis Superfood Vital Veggie Mask! $35 on their site!

You don’t know you need this in your life until you try it! I’ve been using this mask on and off for the past month, and it leaves my skin feeling amazing! It has a light green tint to it, before and after application, but washes off just fine. It is a Veggie Mask, and has a slight scent of straight up vegetables! So if you’re not into smells in your products, this probably isn’t for you. But if you don’t mind it, you should definitely try! I usually leave mine on for about 10 minutes, and then wash it off, and I’ve been using it about 2-3 times a week.

5. Luxie Beauty Gaea 3 Piece Brush Set! $30 on their site!

I’m a HUGE fan of Luxie Brushes, there isn’t a brush from them, that I have.. that I don’t use! Their literally the softest brushes ever. This trio includes the 520 Foundation Brush (I’ve been using this to apply my skin masks - I don’t have a face mask brush and this works perfect), 250 Large Eye Blending Brush (have been using this to blend everything seamlessly), and the 246 Precision Crease Brush (have been using this to cute creases, and it works so well for that)!
