Positive Thinking - Positive Vibes!

Well to start things off, I’ve been having issues being negative all the time recently. You don’t really notice it I guess, until someone else points it out. I read a quote once that said “The more afraid of life you are, the more negative you tend to be” and honestly, that couldn’t be more true.

So that being said, here’s

11 WAYS TO TRY AND STAY POSITIVE -

(because it’s not that easy at times)


1. Keep a gratitude journal. Whether you do this at the start of your day, or the end.. it really helps. Even if it’s just a list of 5 things your grateful for, or reasons to make you realize you should be positive. Make it a daily thing, and your already starting your journey to a more positive lifestyle.

2. Pay less attention to negative thoughts. The more you tend to dwell on the bad things in your life, the more upset you become. Think positive - Be positive!

3. Go Outdoors. Sometimes just being outdoors on a beautiful day, helps you clear your mind, and make you realize all of the things you have. And where you are in life.

4. Always think about the positive outlook on a situation. Kind Of goes along with #2, but don’t dwell. Ask yourself what are the good things in this situation, and focus on that.

5. Wear something that makes you feel confident. Sometimes just looking good, increase your mood ten times more, and makes you feel good. Little things like this will go a long way to help your positive journey.

6. Smile. Seems simple enough, right? Tricking your body/mind can instantly change the way your feeling. Even if you have nothing to smile about, “fake it till you make it”.

7. Do something kind. Doing this will not only make someone’s else’s day better, but it will also make you feel good inside. You never know what someone’s reaction could be, and it could turn your day around instantly.

8. Set goals, and treat yourself once you’ve accomplished them. Accomplishing a goal alone will make you happier, especially after you’ve achieved something you've worked so long For. And you get a treat for completing it?? Sign me up!

9. Listen to music that portrays the mood that you want to be in! Who doesn’t love a good jam? Nothing like music to hype you up, or portray happiness! Perfect and simple!

10. Practice positivity. The more you do this, eventually the more positive you’ll become. Soon enough, it’ll become second nature!

11. When all else fails, do a little Retail/Makeup Therapy. If this doesn’t get You through the day, I don’t know what will! All jokes aside, everyone loves new things. Why not buy some if it makes you happier?!
