Roadtrip Essentials!

As some of you know, I'm moving the beginning of next week! Were driving home to Texas, and well that's a long way to go, especially with 2 dogs and a cat! So if you're taking a road trip soon, and have no idea where to start with what you'll need, here's a couple of things that I find helpful!
First and foremost, I always keep a bag/purse up front with us (In our case driving in a UHaul) for us, and a small bag with all of our pets necessities! I'll start with our bag! And I keep small bags inside of this bag, so I don't have to dig for what I'm looking for.
Our Bag:
- Wallet & Keys! Duh! With any other important paperwork that you might need. Make sure you have cash on hand just in case. Helpful if you keep a flashlight on your keys!
- Sunglasses!
- Travel Blanket & Pillow!
- SNACKS
- Walmart bag for trash! So it doesn't go everywhere.
- Lip Balm, Lotion & Mini Hair brush! Don't forget the hair ties! Those damn things always disappear!
- Umbrella! It might not be raining where your coming from, but you never know!
- A good book or two, Music is good.. but can get tired easily.
- Cord Bag: In here I keep phone chargers, camera batteries, headphones, portable chargers, car chargers, and wall plugs!
- First Aid/Ouch Bag: I keep Tylenol, band-aids, neosporin, hand sanitizer, & wet wipes!
- Toiletry Bag: For us we'll be staying overnight somewhere, so I have this in here so I don't have to dig around the back for it! This has deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, q-tips, toothpicks, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, perfume, all that good stuff!
- Last thing I keep in here is lots of napkins, especially with all the pets you never know when they'll make a mess!
** We also keep lots of Water & Drinks up front!
For the Pets:
I have a small Vans backpack that I use as their sort of "Carry On" if you will. LOL.
Here's what I keep inside:
- Their leashes & harnesses! (when were not using them)
- Bowls (For their food & water)
- Seat Cover!
- Doggie bags!
- Treats!
- Bones & Toys, anything that will keep them occupied during the ride!
- Medicine (I do give my dogs medicine before long drives, because they both get sick in the car)
And that's pretty much it! For us since were staying in a hotel in between the drive days, we have a separate bag for change of clothes & things like that, but you could definitely put yours in your up front bag! All depends on where your going & what your doing!
I hope you enjoyed, and that this helps you with your travels!
